Hello friends! Hippocrates was right. All disease begins in the gut.

I'm here today to help you understand what leaky gut is and why it is so important to take care of our gut health. The term leaky gut is a pretty big buzz word in the holistic world these days. Did you know that 75% of our immune system lies in our gut and 90 % of serotonin is made in your gut? When compromised, your entire body will be out of balance. Our gut is designed to host a healthy balance of both good and bad bacteria. When this is out of balance, the bad bacteria takes over and can cause all kinds of symptoms like belly bloat, yeast overgrowth, food sensitivities, headaches, trouble losing weight, depression and even brain fog. What causes such an imbalance? There are many factors. Stress, antibiotics, and toxins are the top culprits.

Our gut or also known as our microbiome, needs a ratio of good and bad bacteria. 80/20 is ideal. Without this balance, you start to lose the permeability of the stomach lining which allows foods and toxin to leach into the bloodstream, causing our bodies to start attacking ourselves. Voila! Leaky Gut, and hello food sensitivities.

When left untreated, the body can start to develop an autoimmune disease. So, can we fix it? Yes. Can we prevent it? Yes. With proper nutrition, mindset, and supplementation, the body has the ability to regenerate itself. We can heal up the gut lining and stop foods and toxins from entering our blood.

It can take some time depending on your own situation.

From personal experience, and working with hundreds of clients, It can take over a year and It will take some serious will power but so worth it in the end. You will be able to enjoy food and life again,

have an abundance of energy, and reduce inflammation.
